My Studies
Industry Placements
During my second year, my fellow students and I secured 4-week-long placements in the media industry. These placements have enabled us to enhance our practical skills working in the media industry. I was fortunate enough to secure two 2-week-long industry placements at Lambent Productions and Middlechild Productions (documentary production companies based in Brighton, East Sussex).

WORK EXPERIENCE
Lambent Productions

Lambent Productions is an independent, self-funded TV production company, based in Brighton, East Sussex. They specialise in producing documentaries about environmental crimes (Grime and Punishment); animal care (My Houseful of Animals) and educational documentaries like Secrets of the Royal Train about royal properties.

Much of the work I did at Lambent was office-based. I researched environmental crimes for the Grime and Punishment production team, met with the development team to discuss ideas for new shows and shadowed the editing team.
